Commitment to Diversity and Staff Behavior

Harassment
The Yemen Center has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment in any form. Harassment includes but is not limited to:

Report any potential conflicts of interest to the Human Resources or Legal Department.
Use of Center Assets and Resources
Center assets and resources must be used solely for organizational purposes. Staff must not:
- Use Center assets for personal benefit or any unauthorized purpose.
- Access inappropriate websites or materials while at work.
- Share confidential information or documents with unauthorized parties.
Intellectual Property
The Yemen Center owns all intellectual property created during the course of employment. Staff must:
- Protect the Center’s intellectual property against misuse or unauthorized disclosure.
- Obtain authorization before sharing intellectual property with third parties.
Confidential Information
Confidential information must be safeguarded at all times. This includes any non-public information about the Yemen Center, its staff, stakeholders, or contractors. Staff must:

Statements on Behalf of the Yemen Center

Fair Competition and Business Practices
The Yemen Center complies with antitrust and competition laws to ensure fair business practices. Staff must:
- Avoid behavior that prevents, restricts, or distorts competition.

Integrity in Dealing with Others
The Yemen Center maintains high standards of integrity in its dealings with governments, partners, and third parties. Staff must:
- Refrain from offering or accepting bribes, kickbacks, or other corrupt payments.
- Avoid facilitation payments, except in exceptional circumstances for personal safety.
Reporting Concerns and Retaliation
Staff are encouraged to report any concerns or suspected violations of this Code. The Yemen Center prohibits retaliation against individuals who report in good faith. You can report concerns through:
- Speak to your Manager: The first course of action for reporting concerns.
- Escalate to People and Culture: If the first channel does not resolve the matter.
- Use the Integrity Reporting Platform: If other channels do not lead to a resolution.
Application of the Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct applies to all employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of the Yemen Center. Violations of this Code may result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment.
